Wow, that came round quick. One morning in 2009 I was deciding that we could have a year in hand to play with and before you know it it's 2016 and I'm packing 4 backpacks for 9 months travel.
It's no longer the unknown..let's be honest, with so much globalisation the same products are available everywhere. But as the year opens with uncertain beginnings across Europe and the US, there is a slight apprehension to the trip. This is tempered in the knowledge that I am holding onto my children's childhood years for that little bit longer.
